It is very important to set a good password in order to prevent other people from accessing your computer. It's a good idea to use passwords with atleast 7 characters and has numbers and uppercase letters.
1: Start by clicking on the VNC icon down in system with your right mouse button. |

2: After clicking on VNC icon with your right mouse button, a menu will pop up. From the menu choose Options to open the VNC Server Properties window. |

3: Under the security tab which is tab displayed by default, verify that the VNC Password Authentication option is selected, if not select it. Next click the Configure button. |

4: In the VNC Server Password box enter the password that you want to use. |

 |
5: After entering your password click the OK button. |

6: Click OK again to exit the VNC Server Properties window. |
