How to copy files between computers

Copying files between the local computer and remote computer is easy to do, just follow the steps below which shows you how to copy a folder from the local computer to the remote computer. To copy a file or folder from the remote computer to the local computer the procedure is the same just do it in reverse.

1. On the local computer, click on the file or folder that you want to copy with the your right mouse button.

2. From the pop up menu choose Copy.

3. Next move your mouse into the remote remote window and click on a empty area with your right mouse button. A menu will pop up, from the menu choose past

4. The file transfer window be displayed while the file or folder is being transfered. The time taken to transfer the file or folder depends on the size of the file and the speed of the connection to the remote computer.

5. After the transfer is complete the file or folder will appear in the remote window.
